Chai Tea

6 black tea bags (any brand)
1 tsp. black peppercorns
1/2 tsp whole cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 cup sweetener of choice (sugar, honey, agave nectar)

In a large saucepan, bring water to boil. Add tea and spices and continue to cook for 10 minutes. Strain, add soy milk or regular if desired. Keep in thermos.
